Company analysis is an important aspect of business environment analysis. There are many angles to assess a company; as a benchmark for an industry, as a potential partner, as competitor, as a link in value chain, a target for acquisition, or as a potential acquirer.
We understand that just as there are numerous needs for conducting a company analysis, there are multiple ways to conduct the analysis of a company. For instance, the strategies adopted by a company to gain market share is important from business strategy point of view but it may be secondary to the study of cash flow of the company when it is studied as an acquisition target.
